Page 3 of 7 BUSINESS ENGLISH SLC offers interesting courses in Business English which are designed on a modular framework based on principles of communicative competence and taught by task-based methodology. The courses are tailored to suit the needs and interests of corporate or business groups and are designed around subject areas or themes which include corporate hospitality, public relations, expense claims, staff appraisals, globalization, leadership and change management, mergers and acquisition, and e-business.
The curriculum helps learners to develop or practice the language and inter-personal skills necessary to function in business in an English-speaking environment. The course may contain optional modules on presentation skills, negotiating skills, telephone skills, conversation skills, and business writing/correspondence skills.
