Philosophy

  • We believe that foreign language acquisition in the classroom is best fostered in positive affective conditions, where stress is facilitative, not debilitative, where the atmosphere is nurturing yet challenging and motivating.
  • Therefore, we believe that the learning environment must encourage the students to interact, give feedback and exercise their language skills as well as their communicative abilities.
  • The learning materials should be meaningful and come from multiple sources and through multiple media. It should be at and above the student's current level of competence.
  • It should provide information about the different aspects of language needed for communicative competence: phonology, grammar, pragmatics, discourse, writing styles and conventions, literacy, semantics, cultural customs and values, and communicative and learning strategies.

Mission

  • To provide quality education and training in language and communication skills
  • To meet the needs of our students originating from the various sectors and language proficiency levels.

Vision

  • To better equip our students with necessary language and communication skills in order to function effectively in their studies, professions and workplaces, and meet the challenges of the global business environment.

Currently, SLC provides courses in three languages: English, Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia.  In The future, we plans to add more languages as market demands grow.

  • Public
  • In-House Training
  • Private: One-to One
